Desure Shares New Track, “West Wind (Stay Here Awhile)” From Upcoming Debut EP

    By Dom VigilApril 16, 2019

Anna Of The North perfectly depict the trials and tribulations of love on their dreamy new album, Lovers. Ups and downs, second-guessing, infatuation and heartbreak are all covered in these songs, which quickly immerses you in Anna Of The North’s stunning world. Carried by hazy instrumentals, warm synth and sticky sweet vocals, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these songs.

Blurring the lines between country, folk, indie, and rock, LA native Desure has unveiled his latest track “West Wind (Stay Here Awhile)“. The bearded troubadour also announced his upcoming self-titled debut EP out May 3, 2019 tying into his show at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

“This is a song I wrote for my wife. It’s about our honest journey together. If I’m ever down she picks me up and vice versa. This song talks a lot about that give and take of a relationship. Since meeting her it’s the first time I’ve ever been able to write anything positive in a song and she makes it easy.” – Desure

Desure recently released “Los Angeles,” rife with wailing slide guitar, a sunny spirit underscores the telling admission, “Los Angeles, you’re killing me. Lord, I can’t live on two hours sleep. With a daily dose put up my nose to the women we talk to after shows, it’s a simple reminder of what’s to come when I say I won’t-but wind up drunk.” Watch the video HERE.

Josh Desure jumpstarted his career in the music business tour managing for Midland, hitting the road with the trio as they toured their debut album On the Rocks. After a last-minute opening stint for the band in Bakersfield, Desure hung up his tour-manager hat and decided to give music a real go.

Representing the missing link between sixties Laurel Canyon and desert dust bowl country right from the heart of Bakersfield, Desure traffics on his own road beset by unfiltered storytelling, evocative instrumentation, and soulful delivery. Like candid dialogue befitting of a late-night cruise in the glow of headlights and nothing more, the bearded troubadour doesn’t censor a thing. As a result, he steadily maintains pace on an upward rise highlighted by syncs on NETFLIX’s The Ranch, sold out tours supporting Midland, and acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone within a year since his emergence.

Desure is currently on tour with Midland for their “Electric Rodeo Tour” in both the U.S. and U.K. Desure will also be performing select dates with singer-songwriter Dwight Yoakam. For more information on tour dates and tickets, please visit www.desuremusic.com
