Boulder-based indie-folk band, Copper Leaf have debuted their new single, “Mirrors” today! The track, which can be streamed now below, is taken from the band’s upcoming album, Symbolic, out Friday, July 12th.
Evoking artists like Band of Horses and Pinegrove, “Mirrors” is a self-produced Americana-tinged indie rock confessional featuring lush vocal harmonies. Chugging guitars mix with banjo and synths as the band reflects on a series of broken relationships and the damage caused by a lack of communication. Starting out sad and regretful, “Mirrors” builds to a fiery and triumphant chorus supported by shimmering strings and guitars.
“Mirrors” is the perfect snapshot of Copper Leaf’s sound for anyone who might be hearing the band for the first time, and shows quite a bit of promise for their upcoming album.
In support of Symbolic, Copper Leaf will be playing a release show at Lost Lake on July 12th alongside Automatic Iris. Tickets are available now HERE.
