Lexington, KY three-piece Too Close To Touch have announced the second volume of their EP series I’m Hard To Love But So Are You set for release Friday, July 12th. Watch the music video for the band’s new single “F.I.N.E.” now below!
According to drummer Kenny Downey, “The message behind our song F.I.N.E. is that no one is perfect and we all have shit to deal with. So for the music video we had actors in morph suits sort of latch on to us and the other characters to control our actions. They are the embodiment of that weight you may feel when you are dealing with something and having a hard time. They are always with you no matter where you go or what you are doing. We all have them and most of us try to hide them. But the song and video are to remind people that you aren’t alone or crazy and that you can’t let hard times slow you down.”
The Lexington, Kentucky band is Keaton Pierce (vocals), Mason Marble (guitar), and Kenny Downey (drums). Too Close To Touch’s releases include the songs series of “Leave You Lonely”, “Before I Cave In”, “Burn,” and their albums Nerve Endings (2015), and Haven’t Been Myself (2016). In 2016, Too Close To Touch won the award for Best Underground Band at the Alternative Music Press Awards. Haven’t Been Myself debuted on the Billboard charts as the #3 Alternative Artist Album, #9 Top New Artist Album, #25 Top Hard Music Album, #28 Current Alternative Album, #35 Top Independent Album, and #133 Billboard Top 200 Current Album.
