Jeremie Albino Releases Debut Album, “Hard Time”

    By Dom VigilAugust 12, 2019

Buzzy Americana singer/songwriter Jeremie Albino has released his debut album Hard Time on Cinematic Music Group. Listen to it now below.

“I’m really proud of this record,” says Jeremie. “It’s been a lot of work and I’m excited to finally get it out into the world. This record is a good picture of all these stories I’ve been writing ever since I started making music. A lot of the inspiration came from my day to day, living and working out on farms, or just kinda growing up. All the years of voice memos, I’d sing to myself ideas, whether it be while I was out harvesting carrots, or while I was just sitting on the porch with a friend.”

His wildly impressive debut album includes previous singles Last Night, The Cabin, and Hard Time.

Jeremie Albino will be an official showcasing artist at this year’s AmericanaFest in Nashville where he’s set to perform at The Station Inn on September 12th. More details to be announced soon. He also recently hit the road with JD McPherson and will open for St. Paul and The Broken Bones later this fall. All tour dates and festival appearances can be found below.

Trading the booming metropolis of Toronto for Prince Edward County, a decade of country living has given Jeremie the time and space needed to create an album overflowing with heart through vivid storytelling of life and love. Emulating the heroes before him like Lighting Hopkins and Skip James, Jeremie Albino offers a soft and insightful touch with his folk songs, and stomps and swaggers through soulful rock ‘n’ roll. Letting his heart lead the way, the forthcoming album tells vivid stories of “love, life, people, and another time,” as Jeremie explains.
