Indie-pop newcomer Zach Seabaugh has released his playful and upbeat new single, “Christmas Lights” today. Through emotional and vulnerable lyrics, Zach admits his longing and patience he has for a certain someone, singing “You’re so unaware but it’s not your fault you don’t care / It’s like leaving up my Christmas lights in June / It’s embarrassing how long I’ll wait for you.” Listen to it now below.
“Christmas Lights” follows Zach’s duet, “Maybe in the Morning” with pop artist Anna Hamilton, closing out his summer of new music with a very aptly titled track for the months to come.
Zach Seabaugh is an alum and semi-finalist from Season 9 of The Voice, and has quickly built a devoted fanbase since then. He has a knack for weaving relatable stories through meaningful lyrics and stunning melodies in a way that perfectly embodies the complexities of young adulthood.
